So, CLV bought the building I live in just after Christmas. In March my rent chq somehow got misplaced and before I knew it I was being severed papers for court saying it was my third notice when it was the first I had received.

Went to the hearing, paid the money owed. Found out I have been paying $35 a month for parking when I don't have a car or a drivers license!!! Went to the office and the lady sd she look into it and filed off an email and would let me know. No one returned my calls so I went back to the office with a letter with repairs that needed to be addressed.

A few days later they came and fixed 2 things, things that weren't even that important as the other stuff but I appreciate it being done regardless. By now it's May and still nothing bout parking issues or other repairs. They replaced our door handles in April and gave us 3 new keys. None of the keys for, they were not cut.

I spoke to the gentleman who fixed my towel rack and he looked at me odd as in he didn't believe me and said he only had one copy and he couldn't give me it. I have a 10 year old and my fb works till 3:30 am so had to leave the door unlocked while we slept and every time we left the house. My fridge door does not stay shut and pops open, so I have thrown out so much food, which is like throwing away my money. My gas stove is also an issue as I turn a burner on and gas comes out 2 places.

Fire hazard?!?! I think so. So when I paid my June rent I took off the $35 โœ–๏ธ12 months and I again wrote a letter for the second time about the issues. Next thing I know they are taking me to court AGAIN!!!!

Went to court 2 weeks ago to the date. They lawyer was on the phone with someone fr CLV saying they never got any letters, yet they cashed my chq which was in the envolpe! I got suckered into an agreement about paying some of the money which I should have never done and they agreed in writing to come and fix/repair/replace what needed to be done in 14 days and I would pay the amount we agreed on as they didn't want to go back to court. Today is the 14 day.

I paid what I owed in full and surprise surprise no one has come to fix and/repair anything. So I have a fridge that doesn't close, a stove that is a safety issue, a back door that sticks, outlets in my kitchen don't work so I have to lift my microwave fr one spot to another for it to work. No one cares unless I don't pay my rent, which solved nothing either. So I will now be taking them to court.

I am sure the people who work for CLV saw they had a charge on a credit card for over a year for something they don't have they would dispute the charge and fight not to pay it. I work hard for my money, am a single mom and think the fact that you, CLV, a multi million dollar company needed to rip me off the $420 for parking. My son could have gone to camp for 2 weeks this summer with that bit of extra money which is rightfully mine. I have done lots to the unit to make it look nicer out of my pocket.

I just replaced all the boards and gate on my backyard because it was falling apart and looked like ***. I am a good tenet and like living here minus those issues.

I would never recommend anyone rent fr CLV. 3 months no keys is unacceptable as far as I am concerned.
